1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you access a website or web application. They allow the site to recognise your device on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, and perform essential functions like keeping you logged in. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage for security and performance purposes. References to "cookies" in this Policy include all such similar technologies.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies to: • Keep you securely authenticated across your session on the Platform. • Protect the Platform against security threats such as CSRF attacks and session hijacking. • Remember your settings and preferences so you do not need to reconfigure them every visit. • Understand how the Platform is used (in aggregate and anonymised form) so we can improve it. • Comply with our audit and security logging obligations under the NDPR. We do not use cookies to serve advertising, track you across unrelated websites, or build commercial profiles about you.

3. Third-Party Cookies

The MedLync Platform does not embed third-party advertising, social media, or tracking scripts that set cookies from external domains. Where we use third-party infrastructure providers (e.g. cloud security services), these may set strictly necessary cookies as part of DDoS protection or performance optimisation. These are subject to the relevant provider's cookie policy, and we ensure these providers meet our data protection standards.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or applicable regulations. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date and, where material changes affect non-essential cookies, present a new consent prompt.
